MOMOTARO JEANS' perpetual repair warranty service is designed to ensure that you can wear your precious piece of clothing for many years to come.

Repair Warranty

There are “Free Warranty” and “Paid Warranty” coverage for repairs.

Free repair
  • Damaged sewing yarn
  • Damage to buttons or fasteners
  • Damage to rivets
  • Hemming
Paid repair
  • Wear to fabric (such as crotch)
  • Tear to inner pocket fabric
  • Replacement of belt loop, etc.
Not applicable
  • Adjusting width
  • Customization or repair that deviates from original specifications

*Prices will vary depending on the size and location of the repaired item.

*We may not be able to accept repairs depending on the condition of the jeans, such as severe damage.


Before ordering repair

1. Please have the “CERTIFICATE OF GUARANTEE” ready.

Please prepare the warranty card “CERTIFICATE OF GUARANTEE” included with your purchase. Please note that if you lose or forget it, you will be charged for any free repairs.


2. Wash jeans to be repaired

  • Please wash your jeans and leave them “unwashed” and completely dry.
  • Washing in cold water is also fine.
  • Please make sure that the fabric has been washed and conditioned.
  • (Unwashed jeans may lead to the breakdown of the sewing machine or may not be finished properly.
  • We may refuse your request if we judge that your jeans are being worn from a hygienic point of view.
  • We may refuse your request if you use detergent or fabric softener with a strong fragrance, as it may cause the smell to migrate at the repair shop.

3. What you need to send with your order

  • Warranty “CERTIFICATE OF GUARANTEE”.
  • Washed jeans
  • A note describing the area to be repaired (please be as detailed as possible)
  • Return address and contact information

Delivery time for repair

Please confirm the delivery date in advance, as it varies from time to time.

Please note that we will work in the order in which we receive your request, regardless of the work involved, from minor repairs such as re-stitching of broken stitches to major repairs such as holes and tears.
